We take a direct route to guiding the new student through a prelimenary understanding of yoga. We understand that a practice and system that is thousands of years in existence may seem intimadating and challenging but we believe in Yoga’s healing and beneficial results and know you will too.
In this 4 week series (meets 4 Monday for 1 hour in January) the student will learn, practice, and understand foundational yoga postures, breath work practices suitable for a beginner, meditations that help to reduce stress & tension, and a background on the history and philosophy found in traditional Yoga.
